Welcome to Haven Among Mayhem. I am wife to my hard working husband and a stay at home mom to two energetic, inquisitive and loving children who constantly remind and teach me to enjoy each day, to laugh more and love unconditionally.  Although I might complain about how chaotic and stressful my days as a stay at home mom are, I am so incredibly blessed to be able to spend each day with my children; watching them grow and guiding them along the way.  Some days are easier and more fun than others but unless my husband insists, I don't see myself going back to work outside the home anytime soon.

While my family comes first, some of the other things I am passionate about and love doing are; sewing, crafting, cooking, baking, reading, organizing, being thrifty and my newest love... photography.  I'm not very good at it yet but I love taking pictures and I'm trying to learn more.

I've decided to write this blog to document my quest to embrace the mayhem and find balance in my life as a stay at home mom wanting to do it all and me as an individual.  I have lists and lists of projects I want to accomplish and new things I want to make.  This blog will give you a glimpse into my days filled with mayhem, laughter and joy while fumbling my way through parenting, trying to complete my latest DIY project and uncover the part of myself that tends to get lost as a SAHM.

So if you are here reading my blog I am honored that you would spend your time reading about me, my stories as a stay at home mom and the projects I make.  I hope that you find some things here that are useful and will inspire you.
